Lead Business Analyst
Worcester (Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Business Analyst to join the Technology Business Analysis Practice in Worcester. This is a leadership role within a growing team, supporting the delivery of complex business change initiatives and enabling digital transformation.

You'll work closely with business colleagues across project and product delivery teams, while also coaching and mentoring fellow analysts. From requirements gathering and process improvement to UX design and change adoption, this role demands versatility, insight, and leadership.

Key Requirements

  • Experience leading business analysis within large-scale business change initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring analysts.
  • Ability to drive effective cross-team collaboration and strategic decision-making.
  • Skilled in creating design artefacts, user journeys, and service prototypes.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Capable of managing contractor performance and ensuring service delivery standards.
  • Responsible for recruitment, development, and performance of BA team members.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree, management qualification or equivalent professional certification.
  • Business analysis qualification (Practitioner level BCS BA, Lean Six Sigma - desirable).
  • Excellent organisational and workload prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a user-centred and value-driven approach to change.

Salary

This permanent position offers a salary of 57,000, plus excellent benefits and flexible working opportunities.
