Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
Fawkes & Reece are working exclusively with a leading civil engineering / groundworks company based in the Midlands. Theu have built a strong reputation by consistently delivering complex and high profile projects. Due to a number a project wins they are now looking to strengthen their commercial division based in Worcestershire. The team are very friendly and have a family feel to the business and promotes autonomous and collaborative work environment.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the costs and financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
The company will consider an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for that next step or an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge. MUST have groundworks experience.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Groundworks Experience
- Professional Qualification or working towards (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
- We are looking for candidates who have an experienced groundworks background and who are familiar with;
- Bills of Quantity
- Cost reporting
- Cut and Fill
- Negotiating contract terms
- Certifying payment
- Assessing applications and variations
