Experienced Social Worker - Contract Position

Pay 32.65 LTD inclusive of holiday pay or 25 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Initial Safeguarding Assessment Team in children services, covering the Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest area. This is a full-time, contract position offering a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial safeguarding assessments to identify risk and provide support to families
  • Work with children, young people, and their families to assess and address safeguarding concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a comprehensive response to safeguarding concerns
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues and other professionals to enhance safeguarding practice
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and interventions

Requirements:
