Job Opportunity: Full Time CookOur Private Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Cook to join our team.
Key Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds equivalent (Level 3 preferred).
- Food Hygiene certification (Level 2 or above).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and catering skills.
Responsibilities:
- Take full charge of kitchen operations during the Head Cook’s absence.
- Prepare nutritious and wholesome meals based on a structured menu plan for our 51 residents.
- Cook and serve breakfast, lunch, and tea, along with snacks, beverages, and home baking.
- Motivate and manage the kitchen team effectively.
- Ensure completion of paperwork and handle food ordering responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Full-time, Permanent position (37 hours per week).
- Hourly pay rate to be discussed at the interview stage.
