We are working with a fabrication company in South Yorkshire, due to continued expansion, now looking for an experienced sheet metal worker/welder to join the team.
In this role, you will be responsible forthefabricationand weldingofhighquality, bespoke products, includingsheet metal components, utilising your expertise to ensure precision and durability.This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to work on market leading bespoke products for the global market and help us achieve our goals.
Primary responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate a variety of bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloysand mild steel materials, gauge of sheet metal generally between 0.9mm & 6mm thickness.
Weld and fabricate frameworks from mild steel rolled, stainless steel,hollow section and angle iron to a high standard.
Read engineering drawings and translate that intoa productwith minimum supervision.
Achieve a high standard of finish/tolerance on bespoke fabricated products.
Complete problem logs regarding issues with drawings and materials.
