Job Title: Senior Azure Data Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Azure data services, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL, and who has spent at least 5 years in architectural roles delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end data solutions using Azure services including Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Lead the integration of Dataverse with other Azure components and enterprise systems.
- Define data governance, security, and compliance strategies aligned with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers.
- Optimize data pipelines and storage for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend adoption of new technologies where appropriate.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on Azure.
- Proven expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Hands-on experience with Dataverse and its integration within the Power Platform and Azure ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling for both transactional and analytical systems.
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles, including data warehousing, lakehouse, and real-time analytics.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
