Lead BMS Engineer -Dublin

Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join a leading contractor working on a major data centre project in Dublin.

The BMS Engineer will be responsible for the Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and BMS packages from design and coordination through to commissioning and handover. This role will be key in ensuring all systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of BMS and EPMS delivery from design to commissioning

  • Oversee specialist systems integrators and installation contractors

  • Ensure compliance with project safety, quality and technical standards

  • Collaborate with MEP, client and vendor teams to meet automation requirements

  • Provide technical support and resolve complex BMS and EPMS issues

Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing BMS and EPMS systems on large-scale projects

  • Strong technical understanding of BMS protocols, integration and commissioning

  • Background working with systems integrators and automation contractors

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple disciplines

  • Confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
