We are seeking an outstanding Head of Art to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher or existing middle leader to shape the future of visual arts within a supportive and creative learning environment.

About the Role:

As Head of Art, you will lead a committed team in delivering a high-quality, inclusive, and imaginative curriculum that engages and challenges students across Key Stages 3–4. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading curriculum development and innovation in Art & Design.

  • Supporting and mentoring staff within the department.

  • Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, assessment, and student outcomes.

  • Promoting creativity and a love for the arts throughout the school community.

  • Managing resources and contributing to whole-school priorities and events.

About You:
