About the Role:

As Head of Art, you will lead a committed team in delivering a high-quality, inclusive, and imaginative curriculum that engages and challenges students across Key Stages 3–4. You will be responsible for:

• Leading curriculum development and innovation in Art & Design.

• Supporting and mentoring staff within the department.

• Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, assessment, and student outcomes.

• Promoting creativity and a love for the arts throughout the school community.

• Managing resources and contributing to whole-school priorities and events.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of securing strong outcomes.

• Has experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3–4.

• Demonstrates vision, creativity, and a commitment to developing arts education.

• Has strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Is committed to the personal development and well-being of all learners.
