Sales Ledger Assistant - Dudley
Salary: 26,000 - 28,000
Full-time, Office Based - Free Parking Onsite
A well-established business in the property sector is looking to welcome a new Sales Ledger Assistant into their growing finance team. This role has come up due to a long-standing team member moving on, and they're hoping to get someone started as soon as possible - but are happy to wait for the right person.
You'll be joining a friendly and collaborative team where people genuinely enjoy working together - they regularly socialise outside of work, and there's even an onsite chef. The wider business has seen impressive growth over the past few years, and the finance team continues to expand alongside it.
The Role:
Reporting into the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you'll be involved in a variety of accounting duties to keep the Sales Ledger accurate and up to date. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different teams and being part of a supportive, close-knit finance function.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate property and tenant records within the system

  • Process tenant updates, including charges, credits and diary events

  • Work with internal teams to reconcile tenant accounts

  • Raise invoices and issue service charge budgets and reconciliations

  • Process regular recharges (utilities, car park income, insurance, etc.)

  • Month-end reporting and reconciling the Sales Ledger to the General Ledger

  • Process refunds, write-offs and produce completion statements


Candidate Attributes and Skills:


  • Strong communication skills - able to work well with internal and external contacts

  • Well-organised and able to meet deadlines in a busy team

  • Resilient and comfortable handling varied tasks

  • Detail-oriented with good system and Excel skills

  • Willingness to learn and a proactive, team-focused approach
