We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical project Manager to oversee the mechanical installation on a commercial project, with a specific focus on delivering high standards of site coordination, health & safety compliance, and subcontractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site Mechanical subcontractors, including:
- Pipefitters
- Air Conditioning Engineers
- Duct fitters
- Medical Gas
- Plumbers
- Conduct site inductions for all mechanical operatives.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
- Liaise directly with the Main Contractor, maintaining clear communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and drive progress on mechanical works to meet project timelines.
- Quality control checks and problem-solving during installation phases.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS certificate
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience working on medical or healthcare-related projects.
- Proven track record managing Mechanical trades onsite.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Contract Details:
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Day rate - £300-£340 - CIS
- Project Type: Commercial, with medical elements
- Hours: Full-time site-based role
- Location: Dudley
