Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in advanced automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on engineering drawings and schematics.
- Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing to a high standard.
- Conduct basic testing and fault-finding of completed panels.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to resolve build issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow company procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong understanding of electrical components and control systems.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in panel assembly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience working in an automation or machinery manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
