A supportive primary school in the heart of Dudley, is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, ADHD and social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who's passionate about inclusion and wants to make a meaningful difference in a child's daily school experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support children 1:1 and in small groups, adapting work to suit their individual needs.
  • Help implement EHCP targets and learning plans under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Encourage communication, focus and emotional regulation throughout the day.
  • Support behaviour plans for children with ADHD and SEMH-related behaviours.
  • Foster a calm and positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD or SEMH.
  • Confident in supporting behaviour and emotional needs in a primary school setting.
  • Calm, consistent and nurturing in your approach.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is a bonus but not essential.
