Rate of pay:13.50 to 15.50 per hour, dependant on experience
Hours of work:7am-5pm Monday to Friday
As a Side Loader Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a side loader to transport materials and products within the manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by efficiently handling and moving loads, supporting warehouse functions, and maintaining the safe flow of materials to the production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the side loader to move materials, supplies, and products within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring proper placement and handling of materials.
- Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on the side loader equipment.
- Assist in inventory management and track material movement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and any issues that arise during operations.
Experience required:
- Proven experience operating a side loader or similar heavy equipment (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
