Our client a leader in fire protection and safety systems, is on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team.



Your Role:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with our Senior QS and Commercial Managers to support all aspects of cost management across projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project valuations, variations, and cost reporting

  • Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities

  • Supporting procurement of subcontractors and materials

  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring financial efficiency

  • Helping ensure compliance with contractual terms and health & safety standards



What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous, but graduates are welcome to apply

  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating/QS software a plus

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
