Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Transport Infrastructure Project

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a landmark public transport infrastructure project. The scheme will create a new transport hub, seamlessly linking bus services with the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension - transforming connectivity for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead commercial management for NEC4 contracts, with a focus on forecasting, cost reporting, and contract administration.
Manage project delivery to agreed schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and strategic procurement.
Ensure effective risk management and full contractual compliance.
Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, fostering excellence and continuous improvement.
Provide detailed commercial reports and strategic insights to senior leadership.

About You:

Proven success as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally in civil engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong track record with NEC4 Option C contracts.
Skilled in budget management, particularly subcontractor delivery oversight.
Expert in cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Confident communicator and negotiator, with excellent leadership skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline (RICS/CIOB accreditation desirable).
