Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? A welcoming primary school in central Dudley is looking for a dedicated TA to support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Autism across EYFS and KS1.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, ideal for someone passionate about helping children thrive through consistent, tailored support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SLCN and ASC
  • Assist in implementing communication strategies such as PECS or visual timetables
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support individual learning plans
  • Help manage sensory and emotional needs in the classroom
  • Encourage independence, communication and engagement

We're Looking For Someone That Has:

  • A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Experience supporting children with autism and/or speech and language needs
  • A nurturing and patient approach to behaviour and communication
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
