Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dudley
Salary: £95 – £107 per day
Contract: Full time / Part time

Smart Education is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils with moderate and complex learning needs, including speech, language and communication difficulties. The school is a caring and inclusive community where pupils bring a wonderful diversity of abilities, interests, and personalities—creating a vibrant and unique learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support
Assist pupils with communication, social, and learning needs
Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and engagement
Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with SEN (MLD, communication needs, or similar)
Level 2 TA qualification (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Ability to work well as part of a supportive team
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
