Despatch Operative

A well-established industry leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to support all areas of the goods out operation.

The role involves preparing, packing, and arranging despatch of multiple orders to Independent and National Accounts via a variety of carrier networks.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for ensuring all customer compliance requirements and internal despatching procedures are met involving operating our sales order processing system and managing courier bookings.

DUTIES:-
* Pulling, picking, packing, and checking off orders for delivery.
* Booking in with Freight Companies and National Distribution Centres.
* Loading pallets and wagons and maintaining accurate paperwork systems.
* Allocating stock on to the SOP and warehouse location system.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: -

* Must have previous logistics experience ideally in a pick and pack environment.
* Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

There will be future opportunity for progression to support the team leader in the day to day running of a large Logistics Department.

Starting salary is 12.21 per hour.
