The key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:
- Processing invoices, recording payments, and tracking expenses
- Managing payroll and preparing financial reports
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning
- Ensuring compliance with taxation laws
- Providing support during audits
- Collaborating with the team to improve financial processes
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- Strong bookkeeping and financial accounting experience.
- Either qualified by experience or part-qualified.
- Proficient with using Sage line 50 and Sage payroll - Essential
- Good MS excel knowledge - Essential
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional approach to time management and deadlines
