The salary for this role is competitive and we offer 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.

As CNC Programming Engineer within the Hyde Aero Products Division this person will be required to carry out the following activities:

  • To work as part of the engineering team and communicate effectively
  • Produce manufacturing engineering where required (e.g. sequence of operations)
  • Ensure Part Programs meet quoted cycle times
  • On occasion Model legacy parts in 3D ready for programming
  • Program 3, 4 ,5 and 7 axis machines with Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
  • Program with Aerospace tie methods and use of Matrix plates
  • Program and Model using Autodesk PowerMILL/PowerSHAPE, HyperMill or Catia V5 software
  • Verify own programs using Vericut software
  • This role will support the engineering function of our Hyde Aero Products business units across variety of CNC machine tools.
  • A good level of experience on Aerospace materials (Aluminium, Titanium, Stainless Steel) is ideal.
