ENGINEER MECHANICAL BIAS
1. Mission and key priorities of the roleBased in Dukinfield (United Kingdom) and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, UK. The Mechanical Engineer will be a very much hands on pro-active role, responsible for all mechanical repair and maintenance.
2. Your responsibilities includeFault Finding on break down equipment
Provide quick and efficient response to maintenance issues on site in order to minimise downtime
Assembly of equipment using engineering drawings or experience and knowledge
Experience working with industrial machines, machine installations and maintenance
Ability to prioritise safety requirements, and work on Risk Assessments prior to undertaking work
Willing to go above and beyond to keep site operational
Joining call out rota to allow 24-hour emergency engineering coverage when required
3. Who are we looking forDegree/HND level of education, or an equivalent level of competence
Appropriate and proven mechanical engineering experience
IPAF license will be advantageous
People skills, teamwork and collaboration
Problem solving skills
Working knowledge of health and safety
Ability to self-motivate and have a positive, can-do attitude
