As Marketing Assistant / Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients portfolio of running performance and recovery brands, contributing to a wide range of marketing activities. From assisting in the development of seasonal campaigns and producing engaging content, to coordinating events, supporting partner relationships, and contributing to advertising initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your marketing career within the outdoor and sports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing manager to implement and deliver the marketing calendar
- Work with the marketing manager to create seasonal brand marketing campaigns that are in line with the brands objectives and guidelines
- Updating content for brand websites and social media platforms
- Assist with the production of master data for the brands websites
- Maintain good organisation and filing of digital assets
- Ensure that all outputs are produced to set brand guidelines, agreed budgets and deadlines
- Assist with the production and delivery of all trade and consumer materials
- Assist with organising and attending both consumer and trade events
- Assist with maintaining good working relationships with distributors, retailers, athletes/ambassadors, communities and partner organisations
- Assist the PR activities of the brands including creation and distribution of press releases/media communications and develop and maintain relationships with gear editors, key influencers and journalists
- Maintain an awareness of trends in the marketplace that could impact upon the brands
- Ensure the UK showroom is in good working order
About You:
You’re a creative, good at organising and self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and relish the chance to work across a wide variety of projects—from digital campaigns and social content to events and retail marketing.
You're naturally collaborative, comfortable liaising with internal teams and external partners, and have the organisational skills to keep larger projects and daily department tasks moving at once. A love for running is a definite plus - as is a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A degree (desirable) or educated to further education level
- Experience in a marketing (agency, in-house or through your other interests)
- Strong written and verbal communication & social skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling, and CMS tools
- A working knowledge of creative applications such as, Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, Klayvio, Canva are a bonus
- A genuine interest in, or participation in, running.
