Kinetic Industrial are supporting a specialist coatings manufacturer in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper for their site in Dukinfield.

This is a part-time, flexible opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a successful employee-owned business. The role is being offered on a temp-to-permanent basis, working 24 hours per week (Monday is a fixed day, with flexibility on the remaining hours across either 3 full days or 5 half days).

Responsibilities:
* Process payroll for all employees, including hourly rates, taxes, and deductions
* Maintain accurate financial records of sales, purchases, and expenses
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, tracking invoices, payments, and overdue accounts
* Carry out bank and cash reconciliations
* Support the month-end management accounts process
* Monitor budgets and reconcile variances, suggesting corrective actions
* Manage expense processes, including fuel cards
* Update and maintain customer and supplier records
* Handle invoice queries and general finance administration tasks
* Provide support to colleagues and collaborate effectively across the team

Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts-focused role
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas)
* Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
* Skilled in data entry with high levels of accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Strong numerical and analytical ability
* Confident working independently and in a team
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier and client relationships
