Group Financial Controller

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a world-renowned business based in the South West, to recruit a Group Financial Controller.

The Role

Reporting into the CFO, this is a pivotal role for my client which will have oversight of balance sheet and cash flow management and will work closely with senior stakeholders and be a key part of the development of the finance strategy.

You will be responsible for leading a world class finance team and be pivotal in transforming systems and processes, whilst leading on P2P, R2R, Month End, Audit and Tax.

Other key areas will include the development and implementation of the Group's treasury policy, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated, and business partnering with senior internal stakeholders such as the CEO and CFO, and external stakeholders such as the Auditors and Tax Advisors.

The Person

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a strong leader with experience of developing high performing teams and previous experience of working in an international, multi-entity business.

You will have worked in either Retail or Manufacturing and likely have an audit background, and will possess strong experience across Tax, Audit and Financial Control.

Experience of PLC financial reporting and preparation of statutory accounts will also be required, and you will be comfortable getting your hands dirty but have the gravitas to lead the team effectively and business partner with senior stakeholders.
