Project Support Officer

Rate: Day rate - negotiable (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6–12 months

Working Pattern: Remote with occasional onsite meetings

Venn Group are supporting a local authority in recruiting two interim Project Support Officers to join their Children’s Commissioning Team. These roles support a range of commissioning-focused projects that drive service improvements for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate and support day-to-day project delivery• Maintain project documentation, track milestones, and flag risks• Support data analysis and reporting (Excel skills essential)• Arrange and minute meetings, follow up on actions• Engage with stakeholders and support project communication• Contribute to process improvement and change initiatives

Key Requirements:• Experience in local government (children’s services preferred)• Strong admin, coordination, and organisational skills• Confident working with data and reporting tools (Excel)• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement• Desirable - experience in commissioning or project delivery within LA/NHS
