Our clients are an exciting, forward-thinking brand in financial services. They are looking for an Advice Quality Team Leader to join on a full-time, permanent basis. 

The Advice Quality Team Leader role provides daily oversight of the Advice Quality teams case load and supports the team ensuring delivery within the agreed measures.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the AQ management team
  • Working to ensure resource allocated and timescales met by day-to-day monitoring of workloads and AQ Manager kept adequately informed and prepared.
  • To carry out own allocation of desk-based file checking for our client and member firms across the full range of financial services, excluding defined benefits schemes.
  • Sharing and delivering regular updates as observed from the team and the delivery and monitoring of MI.
  • To provide desk-based file review services to the Support Service brand members, clients and prospects across the full range of financial services products. 
  • Providing support with training and updates to the team and to our clients.
  • As Team leader you would be responsible with the managers to ensure the team continue to deliver quality desk-based file checking for clients, members, and prospects, across the full range of financial services products within our agreed service delivery time scales.
  • Support the Advice Quality Managers to develop and enhance processes and procedures to increase productivity within the team.
  • Keep up to date with all regulatory and industry changes and assist in the dissemination of the information to the team.
  • Maintain, track and report accurate MI to management as required to agreed timescales.
  • Lead the team with the support of the Quality and Development manager in the absence of the Advice Quality Manager.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a compliance and/or file reviewing / advice quality role desirable.
  • Minimum level 4 qualification  
  • Breadth of technical compliance and product knowledge in investments, Pensions, mortgages, and protection.
  • Advantage to hold knowledge of IHT/Specialist products/Trusts/SGB
  • Beneficial additional qualifications; ER, LTC, Mortgage and Protection.
  • Management and/or training experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Teams and IT in general
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
