A leading lifestyle fashion group is seeking a Brand Director to define and elevate the positioning of its flagship brand, while overseeing the strategic brand and marketing direction of four additional brands within its growing portfolio.
The company's main brand is well-established, commercially successful, and central to the group's growth ambitions. This role represents a rare opportunity to shape the public perception and creative direction of a much-loved name, while also playing a key leadership role in the development of emerging and niche brands within the group.
The Brand Director will act as a guardian of brand integrity and creativity, responsible for aligning customer-facing activity with business objectives. This individual will lead the central brand and PR function, drive high-impact campaigns, and provide strategic oversight to the marketing teams across all five brands, ensuring each has a clear identity, tailored strategy, and aligned execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the brand strategy and external communications for the group's flagship brand, ensuring it remains relevant, resonant, and commercially strong
- Providing strategic oversight to the marketing functions of four smaller brands within the group, supporting their growth and positioning within their respective markets
- Defining and evolving brand positioning, values, and messaging across the group, balancing consistency with differentiation
- Leading all PR, influencer and communications strategy, ensuring a strong and positive brand presence across media and public channels
- Overseeing seasonal campaigns, brand activations and event programmes to drive engagement and increase brand equity
- Acting as the internal voice of the brand(s), aligning cross-functional teams on creative direction and tone of voice
- Managing partnerships, from PR to creative, and delivering clear, strategic briefs across projects
- Collaborating closely with insight, retail, digital, and commercial teams to ensure brand activity is grounded in customer behaviour and business performance
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong track record in senior brand leadership roles, ideally across fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer sectors
- Proven experience overseeing both flagship and smaller brand portfolios, with the ability to flex strategy according to scale, market and ambition
- Deep expertise in PR, communications, and brand marketing, with a refined eye for storytelling and content
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams
- A collaborative and commercially astute approach, able to influence stakeholders across the business
- Passion for British style, creative thinking, and delivering brand experiences that resonate with modern consumers
