Financial Adviser (Self-Employed) – Devon & Cornwall

I am working with one of the UK's largest, leading Accountancy practices who are looking to further expand and grow their financial planning arm in Cornwall & Devon. You'll receive plenty of leads through the Practice offices across the region, so no need for business development, other than building relationships with the practice partners. Dealing with a wide range of clients, typically from £250k AUM upwards and includes many HNW clients. You can earn up to 70% of written business (both new & trail).

Full paraplanning and administration support provided.

The role:

  • You'll be responsible for providing independent, holistic advice to predominantly new clients initially while building a client portfolio.
  • Reviewing clients existing circumstances and providing appropriate solutions to help them achieve their financial objectives and goals.
  • Building and developing lasting relationships with clients, as a trusted Adviser to them.

To apply:

  • You must be Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning. Chartered or working towards a distinct advantage.
  • Have previous experience as a Financial Adviser and can demonstrate the ability to build long term client relationships.
  • Previous experience of working with Accountancy Practices an advantage.
  • A strong communicator and able to self-manage with minimal supervision.
  • Good knowledge of tax, protection, pension and investment planning.
