Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer
Organisation: Local Authority
Duration: 3 months initial contract with the likelihood of further extension
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Fully Remote
Hourly Rate: Up to £65 per hour Umbrella
They will also be a Solicitor or Barrister with prior experience working within Local Government carrying a full and varied caseload of Adult Social Care matters and Mental Health.
Working Requirements/Duties:
- Understand the legal framework and case law relating to, Adult Social Care and Health
- Understand the issues facing Local Authorities, legal service departments and Lawyers
- Provide legal advice to Local Authority clients in one or more of the areas above on complex matters
- Devise Consent orders and 21 A’s mainly using CVP and Teams
