An Exciting Opportunity in Building Services Engineering – Oxford BasedWe are working with a respected building services consultancy that is seeking a motivated Senior or Intermediate Building Services Engineer to join their Oxford team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical or electrical engineer to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.You’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality design projects, manage contractors, and support junior team members while contributing to the ongoing success of the business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce mechanical and/or electrical designs that meet legislative and Health & Safety standards.
  • Monitor installations and oversee contractor performance.
  • Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.
  • Assist with tender preparation and support business development efforts.
  • Lead or contribute to project meetings, sometimes acting as Contract Administrator.
  • Ensure compliance with QA procedures and promote safe working practices.

  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical building services.
  • Experience in project delivery, contractor oversight, and client interaction.
  • Confident communicator with leadership skills and a proactive approach.
