Your new SchoolHays is delighted to partner with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Nailsea to recruit a committed Year 6 teacher. Starting in Term 6 and continuing through the end of the academic year, this role offers the chance to join a collaborative team focused on helping every pupil thrive.

Your new roleAs the Year 6 teacher, you'll take full classroom responsibility-planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and supporting each child's learning journey. You'll work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues, and be encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities and wider school life.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience in an educational setting
  • A passion for teaching and pupil development
  • Subject leadership experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • ECTs and NQTs are warmly encouraged to apply
