Conveyancing Fee Earner – Residential Property – Home Working

A rare opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or highly experienced conveyancer looking to step away from handling their own caseload has become available with a respected and well-established conveyancing team, which is looking to hire a fee earner to handle holiday and absence cover, on a full-time and fully remote basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. You will work closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression and timely completion of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle residential property matters in the fee earners absence
  • Conduct due diligence on titles, contracts, searches and related documentation
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documentation
  • Liaise professionally with clients and third parties to progress transactions efficiently
  • Manage all stages of the conveyancing process including exchange, completion and post-completion tasks

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced conveyancer
  • Strong experience managing a busy caseload of residential property transactions
  • In-depth knowledge of UK property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Familiarity with the Land Registry and relevant search platforms
  • Accreditation with professional bodies such as the Law Society or CLC is advantageous
