The post - Placement Administrator

The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting student placements, reporting directly to the Placement Officer. They will be responsible for administering the placement processes across all School programmes, ensuring smooth coordination and effective delivery.

A key aspect of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with health boards, local authority partners, and employers to support high-quality placement opportunities.

The post holder will also work collaboratively with other School Officers and Placement Coordinators to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to placement management.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • HNC or equivalent experience
  • Experience of administrative work within an FE, HE or busy office environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to pass on and receive accurate information to both staff and students.
