An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join a highly regarded, medium-sized nursing home located just outside of Dumfries.

Details of this Residential Deputy Manager position and what our client is offering the successful candidate:

  • A permanent, full-time contract working 41 hours per week

  • A fantastic hourly salary of 16.35, which is the equivalent to 34,858.20 per annum

As Deputy Manager you will provide specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

What the home is looking for in a Residential Deputy Manager:

  • Must have supervisory experience and hold or working towards level 4 health and social care
  • A strong leader, who can motivate, lead, and support clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Financially aware, and able to manage budgets
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a UK nursing home setting
