MDE are currently seeking a Quality Manager for an Aerospace & Defence Component manufacturer just outside of Bristol.
Core to the company ethos is their People, Quality and Technology - backed by AS9100revD accreditation, a very exciting order-book/list of customer approvals, comprehensive training in place to upskilll their workforce and significant investment in machinery (their plant list is truly fantastic).

To control quality throughout the business, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations. To manage the quality team and others in promoting a right first-time approach to all tasks within the company. To advise on best measurement techniques and practices and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. To work within an AS9100 quality environment. Manage HSE on-site.
The Skills:
AS9100 Lead audit qualification that is an IRCA certified course
Minimum 5 years experience of as a quality manager in an AS9100 environment.
Minimum 5 years experience in a precision machining inspection department.
IOSH as a minimum. NEBOSH Preferred.
Supplier development experience.
