Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation in the industrial/manufacturing space to recruit a Finance Business Partner based in Dunbar, East Lothian. This is a hybrid position offering a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in strategic decision-making while working alongside a high-calibre operational leadership team.

The Role:

As Finance Business Partner, you'll take ownership of delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting across both regional and national operations. You will be a trusted advisor to the business, helping to drive performance, enhance commercial decision-making, and ensure the integrity of financial controls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with operational teams to provide timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning

  • Leading the preparation of capex schedules, project evaluations, and investment appraisals

  • Producing SOX-compliant financial statements and ensuring statutory and internal policy compliance

  • Analysing variances, KPIs, and performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership

  • Supporting both regional (plant-level) and national (head office) reporting requirements

  • Periodic travel to other UK sites may be required

About You:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience

  • Strong background in operational finance or business partnering, ideally within a complex or matrix-led business

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence outcomes

  • Comfortable with occasional UK travel
