Hays is delighted to be recruiting an accounts assistant to support a market-leading organisation within the finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. Your new role
- Process purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Support month-end close activities
- High volume invoice processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in accounts or finance assistant role
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
