The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dundee area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours:Working 5 shifts out of 7 shifts across Monday to Sunday
Pay Rate:Days - 13.12 per hour PAYE / Nights - 14.43 per hour PAYE
Location:Dundee, DD2

The role:
Conducting 1-3 runs on average per shift, majority of shifts are 8 hours on average but there are some routes which can be longer.
Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and solus locations.
Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.
Handballing parcels into sheds and garages at solus locations.
Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.
Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.
Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
