Trainee Preservation Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Preservation Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and respected specialist contractor. This is a rare chance to enter a niche area of the industry, with full training and support provided by experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the inspection and assessment of buildings for issues such as damp, rot, and woodworm
- Support qualified surveyors on site visits and help prepare reports and recommendations
- Learn property preservation methods and best practices
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Work towards recognised industry qualifications as part of your development
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine interest in buildings, surveying, or construction
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Strong observational and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in construction or a related tradeÂ
