Location: Scotland ( Dundee & North )
Salary: Competitive + tax free subsistence 
Duration: Approx. 6 months (starting March 2026) – potential for follow-on work 
Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday 

About the Role: 
We are seeking experienced OHL Excavator Operators to join our team on upcoming LV-33kV overhead line projects in Dundee and surrounding areas. The role primarily involves operating excavators, for overhead line (OHL) works. You will work closely with site supervisors to ensure efficient and safe excavation and cable installation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Operate 180 and 360 excavators  

  • Assist in excavation and preparation of sites for cable laying and overhead line works. 

  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance of machinery. 

  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times. 

  • Report any issues or incidents to site management promptly. 

  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines. 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience operating 180 and 360 excavators, experience of pole planter and auger attachments desirable 

  • Understanding of OHL works and site safety procedures. 

  • CSCS card or relevant certification preferred. 

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work 10 hours per day on-site.
