Avenue is seeking a permanent Extrusion Operator for a client based in Dundee.
The role involves maintaining equipment, conducting quality checks, and coordinating production runs.
Candidates should have hands-on extrusion experience, preferably in cable manufacturing, and a good understanding of different polymer types.
Knowledge of Ink Jet Printing systems and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are also required.

Avenue are currently seeking an Extrusion Operator for an established client based in Dundee on a permanent basis.
The Role

Maintain all equipment and materials
Complete in process quality checks
Set up and run Jacket Line in line with Production Schedule
Coordinate production runs with supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time
Perform cleaning procedures on all tooling after use to ensure tooling is readily available for use

The Candidate

Good working knowledge of Ink Jet Printing systems
Ability to learn and maintain product knowledge
Experience in calculating extrusion tooling (both tubing and pressure type set ups)
Hands on extrusion experience preferably in a cable manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of different polymer types
Ability to use hand tools, micrometers and verniers (both digital and analog)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Good team player
