Your new company
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Neighbourhood Officer to join a Dundee-based housing association on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with previous neighbourhood/housing officer experience.
Your new role

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
  • Carry out estate inspections and ensure properties and communal areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Manage tenancy-related issues, including anti-social behaviour and breaches of tenancy agreements.
  • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Support community engagement initiatives and promote a positive neighbourhood environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous neighbourhood/housing officer experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Knowledge of housing management practices is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle

What you'll get in return

  • Temporary position for an initial period of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
  • 21p/h (PAYE) + Mileage
  • 17.5hrs working week
