We’re currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant on behalf of a third-party client to join a small and friendly catering team on an ad hoc basis to provide cover during periods of sickness and annual leave.This is a craft-based role where you’ll be involved in food preparation as well as general catering duties. Flexibility is key, as the team works closely together and roles often overlap.Main Duties Include:

Assisting in the preparation of breakfast, soups, hot meals, sandwiches, rolls, and salads
Supporting a small team to cater for around 200 employees on site
Serving customers and handling card payments
Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
Maintaining general kitchen cleanliness

Essential Skills & Experience:

Professional cookery qualifications
Previous experience in a contract catering environment
Comfortable working in a hands-on, flexible role

Desirable:

Smart appearance and strong customer service skills
Friendly, reliable, and a great team player
Experience working in a customer-facing catering role
