Job Title: Cable Laying Ganger (33kV)
Location: Dundee & North
Salary: Competitive + subsistence
Duration: Approx. 6 months (starting March 2026) – potential for follow-on work
Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cable Laying Ganger to join our dynamic team on upcoming 33kV energy projects in Dundee and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for leading a small team of operatives, ensuring safe and efficient installation of underground and overhead cables according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate a team of cable laying operatives.
• Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Inspect work completed by the team to ensure quality standards.
• Liaise with site management and report progress.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and site materials.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Cable Laying Ganger or similar supervisory role.
• Knowledge of cable laying techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication and team leadership skills.
• CSCS card or relevant certification preferred.
