Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a leading organisation in the Business Services sector, is seeking a Temporary Payroll Processor to join their team for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is pivotal in providing payroll services to multiple clients, and there is potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver payroll services to clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
  • Upload payslips and relevant documents to Sage online.
  • Process employee information and prepare accurate payslips.
  • Prepare and submit reports for HMRC compliance.
  • Advise clients on payroll matters and HMRC regulations.
  • Conduct manual calculations for Tax, NIC, Director NIC, Student Loans, Earnings Arrestment's, and Pensions.
  • Manage C.I.S preparation and submission of monthly C.I.S Returns to HMRC.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a Payroll Bureau environment.
  • Familiarity with financial software, specifically SAGE (training will be provided).
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
  • Excellent client engagement skills, with the ability to communicate professionally via phone and email.
  • Experience working under strict deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
