Job Role: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Dunfermline, Fife
Salary: 拢32,(Apply online only)-拢35,(Apply online only) base salary (OTE 拢40,(Apply online only)-拢50,(Apply online only))
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card + Overtime @ 1.5x

The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.
The package:
路 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
路 All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (拢21-拢24 per hour)
路 A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional 拢5,460pa / Average (17 hours) : Additional 拢18,564pa
路 Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum
路 Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
路 Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)

The Requirements:
路 Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
路 Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
路 Experience working on engines would be advantageous
路 Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
路 A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
路 Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
路 Full UK Drivers License
The Responsibilities:
路 Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
路 Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
路 Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
路 Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
路 Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
路 Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
路 Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
