Quality Engineer


Dunfermline area | Permanent | Full-time


An established manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join its Quality team. This role is key to ensuring products meet the highest standards through testing, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality inspections and testing on raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Analyse results, identify non-conformances, and produce clear reports.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and assist with internal audits.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and help train new team members.

About You

  • Experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with quality standards such as IPC 610 or ISO systems.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
