Our client , a reputable hotel based in Dunfermline, require a Chef to join their well-established team.
This role will start initially on a temporary basis but may lead to a long term opportunity for the right person.
Your key duties will include:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency with restaurant standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
You will work 40 hours a week , 10-2pm and 5-9pm , 5 days out of 7 and will receive an hourly rate of 14ph.
