If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Calibration Engineer at one of our sites across the UK.


About the Role

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer you will perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice. Calibrating in one or more of the following parameters: Pressure, Temperature, Electrical, Torque, and Dimensional.

Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems and participate in UKAS and customer surveillance and accreditation audits.

This role is based in our Donibristle branch but will require travel to customer sites up to 50% of your time.

What you will bring to the team?


  • Full driving licence
  • Formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive demonstrable experience with an understanding of calibration, both practical and theory
  • Excellent IT skills, Excel, Word & Outlook


Excellent reporting and communication skills. Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.


Requirements
  • Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
  • Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
