Henderson House Care Home, based in the popular Fife coastal town of Dalgety Bay, provides exceptional standards of Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 60 residents.

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Laundry Assistant to join our supportive team. Your role will be key in ensuring residents’ personal clothing and linens are well cared for, helping to create a clean, comfortable, and homely environment for everyone.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 30 hours per week
  • Pension scheme, Paid PVG, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will DoIn this role, you will manage all laundry services, treating every resident’s belongings with care and respect. You will maintain a tidy and hygienic laundry area, follow Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, label and repair personal items where needed, and ensure everything is returned to the correct resident promptly. You will also check that all equipment is in safe working order and report any faults quickly.

Working as part of our friendly team, you will contribute to a positive, resident-focused environment and attend training to keep your skills up to date.
